Husky 261?

Greetings everyone! I just picked up a 261 Husky that was introduced to a falling tree the hard way. It's not to badly damaged, mostly the recoil cover. I should be able to get it back in good shape for about 70-80 bucks. My question is? Has anyone had any experience with the 261 and can I run a 20 inch bar on it? I want to maintain decent power and rpm but I think 20 might be to much for it. thanks the Hoosier!

Hey Johnb, Iv'e not used one myself but i have cut with guys that used them with 20 inch bars and did ok, only thing i had that would come close was the old 162, tough luck on geting a tree on it, be careful.

Considering the fact that the saw is around 61cc, a 20 in. bar should be no problem. Rich.

My buddy has one that came with a 20" bar and it pulls just fine.
