Lol, was just doing a search on a 272 and came up with my own thread! After reading it I realized I forgot more than I know now. Almost 10 year old thread! Got a 272 on the bench now. Gonna turn a 61 into a 272, thx to a the input gone before and yet to come.

My first mod on the 272 was to bust the single ring into two pieces on an otherwise pristine barrel and piston. Damn, I'm more hammer fisted than a sack of 8 pound mauls!

Lol. This thread is old as dirt! Funny to see who was on AS back in the day, and that people were hopping up 272s to 375s. Some things never change.

How'd the 375 ever turn out for you? You said it was a keeper, did it stick around? I'm headed to craigslist to look for 272, 266/268's and 375's and 365's lol. I want a sleeper 70cc.
