I was curious to know if the husky 372xp is a newer version of the 272xp, or are they completely different saws? Anybody runnin one have any comments on the 272 performance? Yukon

As I know it ,the 272 didn't meet current EPA standards. This was also Husky's chance to update their saws into the Stihl vein, (inboard mounted clutch,side chain tensioner,higher RPM 13,500 for the 372, 12,500 for the 272). I've run the 272 alot and I wish Husky didn't get rid of it.That saw is great on low end torque. Hope this helps you. Good cutting!!!!!
