Just finished freshening up my 357xp. Did a base gasket delete, intake boot clamp swapped to metal, piped, carb limiters removed etc. Stock it made about 147 psi of compression. Now about 165 psi, absolute blast to run. So my next saw up for the same treatment is my 2002 346xp. Beautiful condition, bought it from the original owner. So I grab a stock squish reading and then get a quick compression test... 170 psi. Stock. Wow! This thing already rips, now I can't wait to get her finished up. Wasn't expecting the compression to be that strong. My 390xp is mid 155 psi or so for comparison. This will be fun!
