Husky 350 broken chain catcher

Down at work, they have a Husky 350 with the chain catcher molded as part of the case. The catcher is broken.

Anyone have a solution for the broken catcher?

Drill a hole in the inner spike and fit a Husqvarna roller type chain catcher,

I have fashioned similar out of aluminium angle that is a suitable gauge- after receiving blank looks from service counter staff when asking for the new part order number.

Cool. Is that a home-made catcher or one off some other saw?

That is a kit that comes with the catcher and screw. Same catcher as I posted though.

Just a different angle. The screw in the kit is the same length that is already on the saw. I have bought both the kit and just the catcher and yes, you can make your own. Yes, the catcher on the case was compromised.
