Hello,

I just bought a husky 350. Everywhere I looked showed the engine size of this saw to be 50cc. However, on the saw that I bought, the engine information tag that is on the top cover says 52cc. Just curious about this. Anyone know why this is?
Thanks,

HG

interestingly they list the 350 as 3.1CI/52CC and the 353 as 3.2CI/51.7CC. Doesn't make much sense. I think it was a matter of rounding, but still looks silly that lower CI would convert to higher CC.

OK, I really want to waste time. calculating displacement for the 350 w/ a BxS of 4.4x3.25 give you 49.4cc.

the 353 at 4.5x3.2 comes out to 50.89.

Well, we're back to where we started.

Time to go look at table saws on lunch break.

I can tell you the older 350s and 351s said 49 ccs on the emissions label and the newer 350s and the 353s say 52 ccs. I believe the older 350s and the 351s did not have those bolt on transfer port covers but the newer 350s and 353s do. Maybe the new cylinder design has something to do with emissions as I believe the newer ones say epa phase 2 and the older ones were phase 1?
