I dug out an older saw my Father gave around 20 years ago to replace the one I smashed with a tree. I had just got my brand new Stihl 361 (which I still use as my main saw) so I didn't do anything with it.
Fast forward to today, I was looking on marketplace at saws and saw a very clean promac like the one I dropped a beech tree on many years ago.
That jogged my memory and dug out the saw Dad gave me. I got it started to my surprise and think I will clean it up and cut with it but..
The base is broken off where your foot would go to ground start it.
I'm in search of another base, does anyone have one for sale? It's a pm605.
Sorry for long boring story, I don't post much.
Thanks, Tim.

McCulloch calls that Shroud - bottom, PN 92088 or 214670. If you can't find one elsewhere I have a few used ones in the attic.

That part is the same on all of the 600 Series saws so there are many options out there.

Thank you Mark. After I posted this I thought about ebay, I haven’t been on there since I got scammed with a $1800.00 toilet seat several years ago.

I was able to get the mac base plate and a throttle rod for my sachs dolmar 110.
