The other two saws ( that I know of ) that have full circle cranks are the Echo 610 ( aka John Deere 66sv ) and the Mac BP-1, the reason being that these two models support two cylinders ( the Mac having a slave cylinder for pumping air ).

The theory behind the full circle crank is filling up the crankcase thereby increasing velocity of the scavenging which should create more horsepower, but not as much torque. The full circle cranks seem to smoother in many application as well.
 
the 357 is a normal crank with 2 full circle bells that slide our the crank making it a full circle crank
