I was up to good friend's home last evening a looking at his new to him Kubota very very nice. After that he showed me somthing in the garage and I saw a Husky 365 I am not sure if it is the regular or the special, it was just a quick look really. But he told me that a dealer gave him $ 300.00 for his used 55 and said for an additional $300.00 he could walk out w/ this 365. Well he did I am not sure if it was new or used but it came to $600.00 anyway. Is that alot of money for one or is that the normally expected price?
He is happy with it and that is really all that matters It just sounded kind of high to me but it has been forever since I bought a new saw so what to he11 do I know. I told him about this site and about all the information here.I also told him about muffler mods and such and he seemed intrested .So who knows in the future I may get asked to mod the muffler for him.If so I will ask for advice at that time. Have a nice safe holiday weekend.

I have a new late model 365 Special and the only difference between it and the 2007 372XP is the bore of the cylinder and the lack of a HD filter which many do not care for anyway.

They are a very respectable running 65cc chainsaw.

600 would usually be a bit much for a used one, but a good price if it was new.

There are several unknown factors involved though, like the age and condition of both involved saws - so it is hard to judge how well he did.

$300 for a Husky 55 i unbelievable trade in. 55's are going for $200-250 retail. 365 is one of the most underated Husky's. Hard to tell the diff between 372 & 365 in small wood.

There seem's to be quite a diffrence in prices some people thought $600 was a good deal .I figured 300 for used 55 was a snow job on some level. Seem's alot for a run of the mill, one on every corner saw.Plus I am aware of the condition of some of this fellas "used equiptment"... can be quite rough.

$500 is exceptional, they are easily worth $600 new any day of the week

I have on of those 2010 bargan 365 Special's and like it very well. They were $499 PHO
