Do any of you have one of these? If so how do you like it.I've got two 385's that I love, but I saw one of these at my local saw shop today. The dealer said it was the first one he has gotten in,so he hadn't talked to anyone who has used one yet.I'm seriuosly thinking about adding it to my arsenal

I have only mess with one so far but I liked it. the only draw back is the rev. limiting coil. If you have an old style (black) 385 coil just switch it out and you will like the saw if you like your 385. I personally do not like the stock 385 or the 390 but love them modified.

I am not a huge fan of the way the 385 cuts.I was expecting a little more performance. To be such a heavy saw,it's not much better(if any)than a 460 stihl....On the other hand,I've had these saws and used them every day for three years, and they run better now than when I bought them, and both of them still start on the second pull.Neither of them has had one single problem other than having to replace the starter cord.Durability is a big issue with us because we really put our saws to the test, and they have lasted longer than any other big saw I've ever had.Thats why I'll keep them around.

Why in the hell did Husqvarna need a saw between the 385 and 395???

...then again, why did Stihl need a saw between the 460 and 660???

...nevermind...:help:

That's a pretty good point, but I bought one of those 650's last year.I got the first one that hit my dealers floor, and man that saw hauls. It's not much shy of a 660.It will easily outcut the 385.I bought that saw just to see how it would last compared to the husky. It turned a year old in January and so far so good.:)
