Does anyone know how to remove the Oil Tank Vent Filter and Check Valve on a Husky 435 ?
I have the shop manual and it doesn't give a clue.
It's a small bronze disk covering the "duckbill" check valve. It's visible when the sheet metal wear plate covering the oil pump is removed. It does not push into the tank. Has to be removed from the outside.
It's pressed in tight and I'm thinking there is no non-destructive way to remove it.
Anybody with experience ?
