I have always run stihls, but in the last couple years I've started running a couple of huskys also. Each of the 55's seem to nearly lock up at times . Neither start well and now won't start at all. they both have quality fuel, spark and commpression. Fuel lines and filters seem ok. Kinda lost here can anyone help? Thanks in advance Tim

We need more info about when they seem to lock up. Were they wet and frozen or overheated? Sounds like running lean or overheated and scored by not cleaning off insulating crud around cylinder.

Have you pulled the mufflers and looked at side of piston? That is pretty a easy thing to do on a Husky, then you can eliminate the scoring question ,or maybe just enough crud for possible stuck rings.
