I just inherited one. Relative was getting too old for cutting and burning so I got it for next to nothing. I don't know much about them but see mixed reviews online. I think a while back they were to replace the 372's but seems like that didn't last so I'm wondering if they were plagued with something? Anyone had experience with these? It's in pristine shape, he took phenomAnal care of it.

We've had one for about 5 years. It's OK. Just seems like it's the last saw to get grabbed on a job. They sent it up to me yesterday to chunk down a big spruce and I was kind of wishing they'd have sent up the 390 or even the 570. It did a good job but it's just kind of an in between saw. The coil went on ours but we had to replace the coils in almost all our Huskys. Warranteed but we paid $50 bench charge.

Thanks for the vote of confidence CAD. The reality is I'm no stranger to the HP of a 575, I'm just trying to figure out if I should sell it for another 372/440? They seemed to be produced for such a short amount of time before the 372's were re-introduced I was just wondering if they had much for problems? Otherwise why would husky be so quickto discontinue?

Hope this thread doesn't get moved, very interested in this subgect as of late..

Good saws.

if you update the carb to the 576xp carb. I wouldn't run one without doing the upgrade.

i ran one long time ago ,was on somone elsees job and ddnt realy use it enough to have a GOOD opinion on it

BUT if i were to buy a new saw i wouldnt go outside the tried and true models ,346 ,372 ,385,395 ...357 was good for a few years but its off topic
