Husky 61 rim/drum question

I recieved the rim/drum for the 61 over the weekend. Previously, this saw has had the spur type sproket on it. It is the lower serial number saw. The question I have is when installing the rim/drum, the plastic oil pump cover floats on the drum (the plastic is splined to the drum, but "floats"), along with the plastic spacer and stainless rub plate. Is it normal to have the pump cover lightly rub when free-hand turning the drum?
