I have an older Husky (forgot to right down model number) that doesn't have a chain brake on it. Do they make new sprocket covers that come with a chain brake for older saws? Haven't seen anything like it in parts catalogs figured here would be the best place to ask.

Need the model#. If its really old it might never have had one, doubt you could retrofit. If it just broke off I expect you can get a cover.

Its a 2100. Has the oil pump to the right of the rear handle. It is just a saw laying around the shop but it runs good so I figure if I can make it safe I will give it a go with it.

I think it had a brake, you could prolly find one on ebay at one of the saw parts stores, but at 100cc it might be a tad big for a climbing saw. Be a good stumpin saw tho. Dandy for milling too. For an occasional biggun to drop or milling, I wouldnt bother with a brake.

Give me a serial number and I should be able to get you part number. Then go toJacks Small engine for price and shipping.
