Can't decide between the 372xp or the 576xp both right at 700$ 576 is marked down to 700$ or i could get a 385 xp for 775$ marked down(on Sale)
Can't decide????????????

local lawn and garden small time shop he's got three of them....
Thought about buying all three and re-selling due to discontuations....but he said his distrbitor has like 40 of them....I kinda of ?ed him over and he called his distributor and I heard him say on speakerphone that they had 83 available

Whats all this talk about discontinuation when theres still 83 at a husky distribitor?????

Five years ago I bought two 372's from Bailey's; rumor was it they were discontinuing that model. They must have built a bunch before the discontinuation. Both saws still running like a top, 20" and 24" bars. The main problem I had with my 385 was the gas tank seam, which leaked with very little abuse. I replaced one tank and just epoxied the seam when it started leaking again. I got about five years out of the saw, then ran it over with my loader this past summer. Oops! It still runs, if anyone is interested. Instead of buying another 385 I went with a Dolmar 7900 with the new, improved air filter. Never heard it run yet. I should prolly get out there and start it one of these days. By the way, Dolmar 7900 is 79 cc vs. the 385at 84.7cc. Good luck with your decision. Skip the 576xp.

Thats funny tom, I was gonna buy another 372 from bailey's after hearing that too. couldnt justify the expense at the time though. Then a couple years later I saw one on the shelf of the husky dealer, and was like WTF?

She said we like liked them so much (and hated the 576 so much) that they brought them back. thank God, I love those saws. I have two now myself.

I bought a 385 from baileys about about seven years ago, and have had no real problems... other than the usual screws falling out and whatnot.

n.Lot's of smart dealers still have the 372!

Get one while you still can.I wish I could buy 20 of them.

one of my dealers sells them for $690.

My brother has a 394 xp he picked up from a widow at a yardsale for 200$.........funny thing is.......its been in my possesion since a week after he bought it two years ago.
So I sorta have a 394xp.......use it for most of my big bucking and stumps.......The prick wont sell it to me but don't ask for it back either.
But I guess the price is when he calls me I help him out with what ever it is.
