Are these all owned by electrolux? I thought I read that husky and dolmar come off the same assembly line.Their website didnt say anything about dolmar, just husky, jonsered,partner,mac etc.

At this point most Jonsereds and Huskys are made at the Husqvarna factory.
Their cheapest homeowner saws are made by Poulan, as are many Partner models. At the moment I think that all Poulans are made by Poulan, but I am not sure.
The rest of the Partner models are made at the former McCulloch factory in italy.
In the 1980 and 1990s, the picture was a lot more complicated.

Just cut the piano!!
Partner no longer offers a chainsaw in north america. Cut off saws only.

Sachs-Dolmar is now owned by Makita. They can be purchased with the Makita badge (green case) or the Dolmar badge.

Dolmar left Sachs when they joined Makita, so Sachs-Dolmar became history a long time ago.RES said:
The Makita versions I have seen were blue, not green - but I am partially color blind.
