Good Day to everyone,
I have 2 new 372 XP's, both of which have those darn limiter caps on them. As it is now, both saw have about 2-3 degrees of screw adjustment.
I have performed a seach on solutions to these limiter caps, I found lots of info, but I am still a bit confused. I understand these limiter caps must be in place to prevent the adjustment screw from backing out due to vibrations. Several posts mentioned for example: taking a box cutter blade, and cutting the tabs off.
Now the part I am confused about...Does a person shave the edges of the tabs to provide extra adjustment or Can a person completely remove the tab?
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick
