I have a Husky 55 oiler that will oil as quick as you fire up the engine but I don't know if it's oiling enough. Seems the bar/chain doesn't look "wet" enough and sometimes get a spark off the bar. It's a new bar and chain and the oil hole is correct and clean. Is the only way to be sure it's working properly to simply replace the oil pump assembly? What exactly do I need to replace - does Husky just sell the oil pump as a part # or do I buy individual pieces and repair the one I have? How much are these parts? Thanks.

On my 55 if I point the bar at a wood stump and rev it (not WOT) for a few seconds oil will sling onto the wood and I can see it accumulate. Also when you are done cutting with it you should have enough oil on the bar to accumulate wood chips to the bar. I never get sparks on it, but I do get sparks on my 670 with a shot oiler.
