I have a tiny cs-346 for a limbing saw. I have used it quite a bit and it runs great, going to have the muffler modded soon. I think Echo makes a great saw!! My local Echo dealer is a ass though:censored:
The Echo warranty is only good for 5 years if its used for residential purposes. And its only for the power head. 60 days on bar, chain, and sprocket.
The Echo warranty is only good for 1 year if its commercial. 30 days on bar, chain and sprocket.
Go over the warranty statement, with a fine tooth comb.
I'd go with echo. I've always had problems with huskys.
Yes they are very reliable saw's, my wood cutting buddy has a cs440 and it has never gave him any trouble. I would like to get one to add to the collection. But it is real hard to find a dealer here with anything bigger than the 440 I will have to see if I can get one online maybe.Echo hands down. There are about the most dependable saw there is.
Kinda like the Energizer Bunny, :hmm3grin2orange: just not as "Fuzzy".

My dad got his echo in the early 80s and cut wood his entire life. My dad's saw still runs fine but I broke the rear handle and lower support during a tree binding time, I guess I pulled a little too hard. If anyone knows of a echo 650 evl for parts let me know, I want to repair that saw for sentimental reasons
Oh, get the Echo. Everybody and their brother owns Huskys. It's nice to see and hear about other brands for a change.
I am getting a new saw and I can't decide between the Husqvarna 460 and the Echo cs670. Both are priced about the same and I am wondering if anyone has had major problems with either. My dad ran a Echo saw for years and I feel drawn to that saw, but the Husky is very popular. Let me know what you think. (I can't wait to see the replies I get on this one)
