Is the Jonsered 2150 saw preferable to it's stablemate, the Husky 350, for any reason(s) or is one the virtual identical of the other? Are there any minor advantages of one over the other or are they simply too close to call? Some folks have expressed a preference of one over the other, such as saying that the Jonsered handle is more suitable for left handers and I just wonder what the current feelings are, thanks

husky or jonsered

work for a husky dealer the 350 seems like a good home owner saw but havent had much dealing with the jonsereds but do know the older models were good saws too

If the model numbers are matched up correctly, then you have for all intents an identical saw...

The only issue I have is the Husky seems a bit more price competitive....

Otherway around over here, jonsie is bit cheaper... But it really is upto which handlebar angle you prefer, straight handlebar of jonsies or angled one of huskies...

It is the same here, but I believe pb is right that the Jreds usually cost a bit more than the Huskys in the US.

I am not sure if the 2150 has the same 51.7 cc engine as the lastest US EPA 350s (neither have it here, it looks)...

Both saws are using the same cylinder. The only other difference is that the Jonsered doesn't yet have the primer bulb that the newest 350's do. I've found that the only real advantage to the primer is when you run the saw,(and the fuel line), completely out of fuel.

On pricing, the Jonny's are usually $10 more than the 350's, but we price them the same to make things simpler. There was also a free case deal on the 2150 on the fall program.
