Greetings! I have a husky 350. Its only about 2 months old. I cut an average of about 3 hours per day with it. Well, it has been running great!! But yesterday I noticed it doing something new. At wide open throttle, normally it sounds as smooth as silk. Barely any vibration and just a perfectly smooth hum if you will. But yesterday I was cutting through a large maple and it started doing something different. I will try my best to describe the sound by typing it.. this should be good!!! haha...
Normally it sounds like this at WOT...
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
smooth steady sound like that....
but yesterday it started doing this...
weeeeeeedeeeedeeededededeeeeeee
know what im saying?? some slight, very slight hesitations...and maybe a slight decrease in power, cycling I think they call it. Anyways, the only thing that has changed much around here is temperature. Do you think this is simply an adjustment of one of the two carb screws? I havent tried that yet, wanted to ask about it first before I went jacking with the adjustments. Any input appreciated. And I know you enjoyed the sounds I typed!
