can someone tell me a good way to figure out if i have a bad coil or a bad module? the problem is that i have no spark. any help would be appreciated :)

No Spark

I may be wrong on this one but I believe that the module is built into the coil itself. I will assume that a new plug has been installed, the ground wire from the ignition switch is not grounding out.Have you disconnected the wire from the switch? Possibly a shorted switch would be cheaper that a new module. Just food for thought. I hope this may help, Ken

check out your on/off switch. huskies seems to have a weak switch design. at least for me...

First disconnect your lead to the switch. If no spark ,then you will need the big module. The coil is rarely at fault.Check also if the the module wire is not broken inside the plastic at the white block connection under the small screw.Module from 266,162 or Jonny 625,630 are the same.

thanx for your replys... i have tryed those things and i think it is the big module too. does anybody have one or know where to buy one somewhat cheep?

I need to replace the ignition module in a 61 today too. I'll look for an extra module while I'm going through the parts.
