Dear Members

I new to the group. I have a husqvarna 162se that needs new parts. The flywhell shroud is broken in several pieces and requires replacement. Would the parts from other models like the 61 model be interchangeable with the 162SE? Is there any other model that closely resemble the 162Se?

Thanks

T. Papion

Hi! Your're in pretty good shape with the 162se. It is the "grandaddy" of a line of sprolific (and great) saws. The 61, 66, 266se and xp, 268, 272. They are based on the same chassis and the bottom end parts should interchange.

Hmm,the plastic shroud is different on 268 and 272 are different because they had only one module instead of two.You can also use those from Jonny 625 and 630(those with two modules).

You forgot a few models, the complete list is 162se, 61, 61 Rancher, 66, 266se, 268se, 266xp, 268xp, 272xp, and the "plain"/open port 268........

All the versions of the Jonsered 630, 670 and 625 are also the same "family", and actually made by Husky.

look in e-bay,they always have parts for that saw.Saw shops have lots of used parts for that model saw too.162 is almost entirely identical to 61.
