Hello everyone. I recently purchased a husqvarna 2100 for $100 and have been slowly restoring it to its glory. Saw was running great for a day or so, then began to randomly bog out and stall. After taking apart the carburetor (just rebuilt and cleaned) it looked like pure oil inside. After draining out the fuel the mixed fuel poured out, then slowly about 70ml of black oil came out from the oil tank. I drained the old fuel out prior to using but never cleaned the tank.

My question is, could this be bar oil leaking from the oil tank into the fuel tank? They 2100 has integral case tanks for both, however it does not seem to have a seal for between the tanks. Could it just be old oil from the gas in the tank from sitting for years? Fuel line was disintegrated. Running 32:1 for milling.

I appreciate the help.

Simon
