HI guys

My trusty old 2100 decided to have a lower con rod bearing failure in a pretty bad way and took out the jug in the process.

I've been looking online for cranks pistons and cylinders but I'm not seeing much as far as 2100 parts go.

Can anybody tell me which other saws I can use parts from? I'm getting quite a bit of conflicting information from the Web.

What I gather is a 1100, 2101, and xp85 cylinder and piston will work the 85 having less displacement.

It also looks like they all have different stroke as well so I'm assuming I will have to match the crank to whichever jug I use.

I am not opposed to buying a big bore kit as well if I can find one that will fit.

Thanks in advance
Spencer

Ps. This is the log that killed it!

2100 parts can be a challenge...I think a 394 uses the same crank (could be wrong though). 2100 piston and cylinder will be somewhat tough to locate...if you do locate one...will most likely be pricy

No, the 394/395 platform doesn't share anything but the clutch and drum with the 2100.

You'll need a crank from an 1100, 298, 2100, 2101, or 285, the cylinder will need to be a 1100, 298, 2100, or 2101. All of which are no longer available through Husqvarna. No aftermarket crank or cylinders are available either.

Not sure what the right word is, but "log" just doesn't seem adequate!

sorry for the delay I'm home sick moving slow/ Any how the piston and cly is in Nanaimo b/c I'm working on getting you his phone number and I have two cranks that I need to shake the big end bearings on I haven't looked at them for years ....

awesome do you have a Facebook account ? If so go to the chainsaw group and pics of the 2100 top ends are on there for sale/ He actually has two one brand-new oem and one used I believe they are thick rings...

The one that reads (chainsaws) just realized it's a closed group you have to join but just send a join request //

I talked to Justin. I'm going to give him a shout when he gets back from camp. How much were you thinking for one of your cranks?
