Hi everyone,
I have the Husqvarna 236 x-torq which was given to me by my neighbour as a non-runner he couldn’t fix. Bogged when revved. I fixed that by an ultrasonic clean of the carb and a carb kit. It has a Zama carb on it.
I used a tachometer and followed the Husqvarna carb settings guide I found online - 2 turns out on both H and L, then adjust H until WOT speed is 12000rpm maximum. Adjust idle to 3000rpm.
Starts well, idles fine after starting. Revs instantly, no lag or bogging. But when I start cutting wood, it randomly cuts out when it attempts to return to idle. It then takes 4 or 5 pulls to start again. It will then idle fine and the same thing happens when I cut.
Any ideas please? I’m not sure what to try now.
