Sold Husqvarna 246XP

Nice shape Husqvarna 246XP. Low hours on it.

I used it yesterday to cut some wood for the shop.

Could stand to have the carb dialed in better, it's running a little bit rich. Choke lever is missing and has a piece of wire in its place (which works fine).
Comes with the bar and chain shown, 20". If you want something else I can swap it.

Shipping looks to be about $35 with bar, $30 without.

My cursory search suggests that's a nonexistent model. There's the 346XP, and the 246, but no 246XP.

I'm not a Husqvarna guy so I'm not sure aside from what the sticker says haha.
Sorry guys but I can't eat the shipping cost, the price is the shop price so it would make no sense to take a $30 hit on an already cheap price.
Can wheel and deal b a bit but I think the prices I listed are pretty fair? If not please let me know, I certainly don't think this stuff is gold plated.

A member asked me to check the serial number tag.

It's saying 242XP... why the cover says 246XP I'm not sure?

Serial is 6130062 if that means anything?


Google isn't coming up with mych, looks like it wasn't offered in the USA?

Starter cover from 246 fits on a 242 is why. Good price for a 242,.

242xp / 246 is doesn't really matter. Both Very Good saws!!! I would have already bought this if I wasn't up to my rear in saw projects right now.

Jon I can show a pic of a 246xpg. Unicorn or not I dont know. Just because we dont have them dont mean they wasnt made.
Heck some guys get saws we cant get shipped in from abroad.

Yeah, I believe it's a real model. When I initially searched for info about it I found some old threads here on AS saying there was no such model, but clearly that was wrong.
