IMG_20140912_182513369.jpg Nice looking, and real nice running saw. Starts, runs, idles, and cuts real well. I haven't been through it, or inside it. GREAT compression, and I do mean GREAT. You have to mean it when you pull this one over.
This is the early version, notice the non decompression valve cylinder. This saw isn't perfect, it is used. It will have wear, scratches, and signs of use (I think a couple of the recoil cover ribs might have some cracking. BUT, it is a very nice one. Clutch cover is new, new rim sprocket, air filter either is new or looks new. I don't think saw has ever thrown a chain, no rash under the cover. The handle is bent, but not bad enough for me to want to replace it but noticeable. It is also missing the door plate to the tank compartment (so are 9 out of ever 10 that has one). AV is a little soft, but not needing replacing yet, and parts are available if you wanted to freshen it up (same condition as my mind 262 in my collection, and I don't think it needs it either).
If I didn't have one this nice, it wouldn't be leaving here. Seeing is believing with these 262's, IMO they are one of the greatest saws ever made. These are factory hotrods, I have owned 3 and every one of them were similar in performance.
Great saw for a fair price. $315 bottom dollar plus ship.
