Sold Husqvarna 272xp

272xp. I got this saw with a bent handlebar and broken top cover. There are two broken fins on the cylinder (pics), but it shouldn't affect operation at all.

I changed out the damaged parts and put a new spark plug in it, tuned it, and ran a tank of fuel through it. This thing has plenty of power and I think would make a fine firewood saw.

It starts easily, although it's a two hand job to set the trigger lock. I'm not sure why, nothing looks out of place. It leaks oil from somewhere?? like most saws!

Power head only. I would like to get $325 shipped, and I'm pretty firm on that price for now. Not interested in trades at the moment, trying to sell off a few saws to make the wife happy.

Me too. I'm looking for a nice 261C-M or 461. I know they are world's apart, but those are what I "want"

There is one member who routinely asks me if saws in my sig are for sale.

I recently sent him a pristine 262xp. He is persistent.

I have a wonderful ported 461 that I don't think I could ever part with after running it with a 32" with a loop of rsf yesterday. As for a 261c I do miss me a MM work saw.

I may have another 372xp for sale soon. I bought it sight unseen after talking to the guy on the phone. My brother picked it up for me, he knows nothing about saws.

Hopefully it all checks out. If not, more parts I guess.

Your post reminds me of a nice 288 Husky that was for sale not long ago. I had a PM written up and I came soooo close to sending it.
