This saw was put together out of a large parts lot of 288's I purchased. This one turned out pretty good but still needs a few things. It will need a tank vent, air filter, and a operator present lever. It could also use a flywheel cover shroud, and maybe a few odd and ends.
New meteor piston in the OEM Mahle cylinder makes 150 on compression with a base gasket. Cylinder has a few fins missing and the compression release has been plugged off. Crank bearings where nice and smooth.
Plastics are decent but have some cracks as you can see in the pictures. Muffler is dented on the front. Take a look at the pictures and make me an offer.
