I know the previous owner (another friend), and I have spent a little time cutting with this saw, this one is a beauty! If I needed another big saw, I would be keeping this one for myself- you couldn't ask for a saw to be much cleaner than this one. Save a ton of money over new, for a clean used one in great looking and great running condition. Send me a PM, not interested in trades at this time.
If anyone is interested, the carb can be drilled for H side adjustment for a small charge. I don't look for this saw to be around here long. Check out the serial number, 0070007 - here is you chance James Bond fans.... :D

is that a newer one or older? at some point I read something regarding these that indicated one era was favored over the other (bc of a better carb) but cant recall it at this time.

if its clean on the recoil side and the front of the case- it's probably pretty sharp on the clutch side too.

It is a beauty, I know he took good care of it and didn't use it much. Just too big of a saw for around these parts. A good running 066 or 395 would take care of anything standing up around here. I have another friend getting rid of a 880, just because he rarely uses it, and he operates a tree service. Just about ever one of my saws 6 cubes and down get a 16-20" bar.

sunuva. Im in the market for a 395xp, but that thing is tempting me...

One thing about it, if a person were to use this saw and take care of it... I don't believe you are going to loose anything in a few years when you need to resell it. These big saws hold their money pretty well, I think a person could probably flip this on the Bay and make a couple bucks. The way they have been charging fees it probably wouldn't be worth the effort. I stopped selling on there about a year ago, and solely use AS and another wood forum I am on and have had great results.

Dam somebody got a deal. Cant tell you how many times I have looked at this thing tonight (i really wanted it) but what I "need" and have approval on from Kari is a wheeled trimmer for some areas I cant get my wide area mower to. Ive picked out the BearCat 190T after extensive research the last couple of days. Had settled on a DR previously but just happened to stumble on a Bear Cat's video online.
