New to this forum, but I enjoy woodworking mainly. The more woodwork I do, the more I want to get involved in the entire process from tree to product. I like the idea of being able to cut my own slabs for table/desktops.

Thanks for the compliments. I am out of Fort Worth. The desk was especially rewarding as I made it for my Dad. He was wanting a new desk for years, but I finally got the time and we worked up a design and I made it for him.

got the saw today. Its in even better condition than the pictures indicated, and fired up after about 2-3 pulls. Looking forward to making some sawdust.

I thought to long on this one and let it get away. Had it on my mind ever since. I dont discuss saws with Kari bc I dont want her to discuss jewelry with me, but I've talked about "the one that got away" alot this week. I wont make the same mistake again.
