my boys started last week(travel teams). actually my oldest (10) is playing in a winter league (domed field) since Nov...man I love baseball !!!!

First of all, can you guys quit the pussyfooting around here and do the deal please?

Secondly, I was the biggest baseball fan around (Go Cubbies ... sorry, Angelo) ... until the daughter started playing travel fastpitch softball. She plays in college now, but it really pains me to watch baseball ... the game is just too slow. I can maybe watch 4 - 5 innings of baseball with the sound off on the TV, but I can watch fastpitch 24 x 7.

I can't stand the FPSB because of the incessant cheering. Cheering is for football. I do love the girl's game. My son will watch it as quickly as he watches the Braves.

Yep, the cheering (at the younger levels) can grate on you ... but when they get older, it can get quite entertaining!

Ya know what Neal, If we were half as smart we are we would start a Women's Professional FPSB League. What an opportunity. I can see it now ( nice skimpy tops...tight shorts)

Those girls that play in the lingerie league take quite a pounding. They appear on the Jacksonville TV station regularly and were showing off some of the damage done during games...concussions are more common than in the NFL.
