Thanks for the information but I mentioned I already order the update and expect it within a day or so.

I would not get too hung up on the resistance values as long as they are close to what they should be. Modern coils have electronics in them that means you're not necessarily just measuring the coil. Add to that resistance measurements won't tell you if the internal insulation has broken down or even if there is an internal short in some cases. Granted, a new coil "should" measure what the manufacturer says it should... If they took the time to get the current spec's for the version of coil you ordered.
Have you tested it with the kill switch wire disconnected?

Yes, the wire was disconnected. Scroll back to # 10 where you can see my attachments of the steps I took. First, prior to install, I tested the primary and secondary circuits. Then I installed it. I tested the magnet, the gap and I tested the boot for a spark. No spark.

Hi,
Does anyone have resistance values for the blue coil? 346xp "NE"
510115501 or 510115502

Black one

544047001

as in previous posts should have
Primary 0.4- 2000 ohms, Secondary 6000 - 20,000 ohms

Mine seems to have weak spark at idle, meassured it at:
Primary 87 ohms, Secondary 1,5~1,6k ohms

Idle issues, everything else checked /replaced

Just went through a box of "should be good" coils & measured with my fluke multimeter.
Blue coils ~ 90 ohms pri, 1.6k ohms sec.
Black coils ~ 130 ohms pri, 1.6k ohms sec.
Black (aftermarket?) Coils ~300 ohms pri, 1.8k ohms sec.
Try upping your idle rpm a touch

I knew this is the right place to ask.
I asked SEM and got for the blue one:
50-100 Ohm stop-ground
1.5-1.6 k ohm secondary. At 23 deg.C

Mine is 88 and 1.57k so beacuse IT fires up revs i assume is ok. Spark might be weaker than i would like but maybe that's in my head. As for upping RPM, close to clutch bite point sometimes it drags.
Thanks J D
To the pressure tester!
