Husqvarna 359 tank vent

I was brought a fuel leaking husky 359. I found out that the fuel tank vent popped out. I pushed it back in with no resistance. Can I use a sealer on it or just replace it. Thanks in advance

If I had that issue but never have. I would scuff and use something like threebond 1184 1194 sealer on outer and then let dry.

You try a new vent?
