1998 Husqvarna 365 for sale, asking $250, open to reasonable offers.
Has aftermarket Meteor piston and ring in refurbed cylinder. Will post comp # tonight.
Comes with 20" Jonsered bar wearing 3/8" (72DL?) Carlton full chisel chain.
Muffler is gutted, missing 1 screw on the handel, inside dog has 2 brass screws holding it on. PO stripped the holes and then ran the brass screws in and made it so they could not be drilled and tapped (would have removed too mught material to clean them up). The screws torque down fine so I cleaned out the holes and filled it full of red lock-tight and put them back in. I added the outter dog to share the work, no problems thus far. Everything is OEM except the piston/ring. Plastics are a little faded compared to the engine paint and the cell pic+flash exaggerates the color difference some. I will try to get more pictures in natural light if desired or anything else you like to see. Motivated to sell.

Check the compression with my el'cheapo autozone gauge and read 125 psi (yes it has a check valve) Pictures:

i like the HD6. harder to sync the low/high but once synced i feel they have a better fueling curve.
I'm no good at tuning them so was considering taking it to the local shop to let them earn some money before it leaves my door. I have the H set very conservatively right now so there is a lot of improvement to be had. I consider throttle response acceptable to my standards but the L is probably set conservative too. Color on the plug is a nice brown paper bag color and I can still see a good amount of piston wash through the park plug hole.

That's a great price for a 365. I like the hd6 better that's what my 371 has on it

Thanks. It has its issues so I tried to relect that in the price. Only reason for selling is for a certain 100cc project saw. Working on getting a video clip of it in action, more to follow.

Im a hour to hour and half north of Cortland. You'd take 81 north through Syracuse and exit onto Rt 104 and head west 15 mins.

No leads on 181-281-288's.
