Husqvarna 365 OEM Cylinder?

I bought this new OEM Mahle for a Husqvarna 365 and apparently it isn't the right one. The part number on the box is 503 69 10 73 and the IPL says it should be 503 69 10 72. The bore is 48mm like it should be and everything else appears the same. I'd like to know what it really fits?

I believe that's the open-port 365 cylinder with the bolt-on intake boot...

So to use it on a 362/365/371/372 I would need the bolt on intake boot and a different carburator?

Does the open port increase the rpm on the saw? Most of the 365 are only 12600 rpm.

Which answer are we looking for here? Moss Man can use that cylinder if he gets a bolt-on boot. No change in carburetor required...

They use the Zama carburetor in the non-SP 365 because it's cheaper...

Mossman, I will be getting a 365 with the square carb boot at the end of the week. Want to swap for the round boot and clamp?

Go to the 372 IPL. I had to go through this when I upgraded my 365 to a 372.

Looks like the one I have in the photo is the earlier non EPA and the round intake cylinders are the newer EPA. I wonder if the non EPA has better flow?
