I had an 056 that run perfect until I killed it. Would not restart until it cooled down. Changed coils and that solved the problem as the old coil would break down when hot!

So i used the wrong sealant? Its not like a 4 stroke head gasket thats under alot of pressure, theres not that much pressure on 2 stroke head gaskets. Is there a gasket maker that's specifically for head gaskets and contact with fuel?

Good one minute, bad the next. It's electrical. Seen it too many times. Saw idles fine, falls on it's face when revved up.

I disagree, but will not argue that it can't be the coil. Because it very well could be. The key issue that I read is that the saw wasn't retuned after the modification. Add a sealant that is not fuel resistant, and it seems more likely to be an lean/air leak issue.
 
Get a peek at the piston/cylinder yet? If they look great than it's most likely electrical. Possibly a carb or throttle linkage problem. If they look bad its a air leak or lack of fuel. I personally wouldn't trust the sealer you used, I would think it would be a good thing to replace it. I use yamabond 4 for most things 2 stroke,vacuum and air oiled systems. Works great as a alternative to loctite on those pesky self loosening husqvarna bolts that shouldn't really be loctited. Sorry just had too.
 
I used that on a oil pan once, bent the pan tryin to remove it later,, real good ****.
Purchased a 465 Munice rebuild kit from Novak for a jeep build. Called and spoke with transmission builder at Novak for best kit to use and any suggestions he may have. He said clean until I was positive it was clean and then clean it again. Make sure to use the Right Stuff he said, I replied, I give, what is the right stuff. Long pause until he stopped laughing, then explained. That was the right stuff to use. ;):happy:

Start with when the problem came about and work from there.
Worked good before you got into it, then fine for a time afterwards(this is when the effects of something you most likely did wrong showed up).
I agree with those who say an air leak, and now there's a good chance you've scored the piston.
Pull the muffler and look, (that will narrow down the effects), if the piston is scored you probably developed an air leak at the base. If no then you may have a problem with a fuel line(maybe cracked) or with the impulse hose either cracked or it has fallen off.

I don't work on saws unless I have to so I really don't know much.
 
Echo...the solution to the problem. Have two of each. Have to be a two cycle mechanic whenever I tried to use the Hus. junk. "you're flooding it, you're not holding your mouth right" blah, blah. Total junk.
