Up for sale is a Husky 371 PHO with the following

-New OEM Piston and Rings
-New Crank Seals
-New Fuel Line and Filter

This saw came to me with a scored piston. The cylinder cleaned up nice and I outfitted it with a new OEM 372 Piston and rings (50mm, 2 ring piston.)

This saw slings the bar oil like crazy. Runs, idles and cuts well. Chainbrake works properly and is in overall good shape.

It has a couple of small issues, which I will also address.

-Fair amount of chain rash on the bottom of the tank.
-Inner bar plate is a little beat up as they usually are.
-Needs a new kill switch.
-One muffler brace screw is stripped, helicoil it or drill and tap it a size bigger.

Creates 140 psi with about 10 minutes run time, should create more with break in. I have it tuned to about 12.8k for break in.

Cylinder and muffler are totally unmodified. Running a base gasket in it.

Saw runs strong as referenced in the following video.

I seriously need to consider making a sawbuck this year. Chain could use a little work, been to busy to put a file to any of my chains for a little while.

God, I love these saws, hard not to keep it!

Looking for $425+shipping for the saw.

Drop me an offer, or may consider trading for some parts/parts saws.

Nice saw and looks all original too. All of the subtle differences between the 371 and the 372 are there.................(orange quick clips, full length top cover, and "cool flow II" clutch drum, case mount chain adjuster). For anyone intrested, most of these saws have plenty of room to play with the squish. Some big gains can be made in this area. Good luck with your sale. You don't see many like this one anymore.

Does the clutch drum having the holes in it have any gain on anything over non holes Does it keep it much cooler

The concept makes sense that it would keep the clutch, bearings and esp. the seal cooler however, Husqvarna discntinued if after the 371 for some reason. I always liked it and considered it a bonus. Can I say for sure that it made a difference..............no...........maybe.............They used to advertise it in their late 90's catalogues.
