Husqvarna 445 used price?

I have a Husky 235 a 445 and two Ranchers with the big boy 395. I only use the big saw to cut and noodle the big rounds then hack everything after that with the smaller saws. I do have a 28" bar for the big saw but a very rarely use it. As for the cost I bought the 395 off of Craigs list with the 36" bar and chain plus 5 brand new chains came with it. Paid $700 for all and thought I did OK.

My 394 doesn't make me not like my 385. Just the opposite in fact, unless it's 36" or longer, the 385 is just as strong and much smaller. Long bar is a different story.

Glad to hear that. It's a rare day that I bury my 28" bar up here.

I put a new 18" bar and chain on the 445 today. I hadn't really planned for that but the chain was shot and bar wasn't far behind. I bought Husqvarna parts because because they were in stock at Lowe's. Seems like a pretty badass little saw, I'll find out this weekend.

Ok, so I cut up a couple of ash trees today with the Husky. You could tell the saw had been sitting for a while but it only took it a couple of minutes to clear its throat and then it ripped through these trees pretty well. The trees tapered from 3" to 12" diameter and they were probably 30-40 feet long. Anyway, this is not a MS290 but I was very pleased with it.
