Husqvarna 480CD bar and semi-chisel chain

Hi Everyone, I am in the process of cleaning up my Husqvarna 1979 480CD and want to put an 18" bar and new semi-chisel chain on it. Right now it has an Oregon 16" bar and a safety chain on it.

I typically cut a few trees a year for firewood and a bit of property maintenance but nothing excessive and nothing over 20"-24" trunk diameter.

I am from Canada but can pick up from across the border so I have been trying to find a good deal I can order online from the US.

3/8", 0.050", 18" bar/loop

Welcome to AS. Bailey's Bar/Chain Selector is a good place to do your searching. I'd be leaning toward a 20" or better for that size saw with Oregon 72LG chain.
