Want to Sell Husqvarna 50 Rancher, Minty fresh, 8 out of 10 quality

Up for sale is a Husqvarna 50 Rancher, First year model I believe, they came out in 1983 and all the plastic has 1982 date stamp, Saw is almost mint...like out of the box mint, only thing not perfect is later model starter and a spot on the handle that has been repaired with heat shrink

I have a nice 50 crankcase (came with a gas tank I needed) and I have been wondering what to do with it. Hot rod sounds good. What cylinder?

I don't know anything about the diff cylinders of these. Just been around a few ported ones that were fast, real fast!

i would run a husky 55 jug or maybe a 61 jug if that would fit with a thin ring kit.

im not sure about the 61 bolting straight to a 50 but im almost positive a 55 jug will.

Thanks for the heads up. I have an old 51 cylinder, same footprint as a 55, that I can hold up to my 50 case. The 50 is from the mid 80s. When someone said hotrod it started to make me wonder about what might fit on that little body. Don
