i have a husqvarna 51 chainsaw that needs repaired it needs a top end but otherwise it is in very nice condition, $75 or trade for old antique homelite chainsaw or any other chainsaw from the 1950's

Does your name match what you did?

If so, how was your rig set up?

Was playing with early 82A1, when a tire fire started from some supposedly 'pulled' M1 AP Tracer rounds....weren't.
Rushed down to the back stop, started throwing dirt & some water from other tires...till I started getting chased by blue hornets who have made nests in them!!!!!!!!!!!

what i did

does my name say what i did? i don't know what i did but yes i was in the marine corps and over 2 years of my 4 i was a scout sniper, as for how my rig is set up do you mean my husky or my grizzly 50, lol:D

I know the 51 well. I was selling Partner who made that engine for them, but I 'm really interested in the 50BMG.

Sold-sell Barretts. One of my friends has a first issue USMC used in DS (three didgit s/n) that was sold thru Barrett to him.

How did you like the Griz'?

How was she scoped?

Pop off any depleted uranium rounds?

Any other sabots fired? Have a bunch of AP's I pulled using the sabot for a center punch.

Were you a spotter/caller also?

Loved shooting the A1. Had lots of fun blowing off hats-glasses, and in general pissing off the jerks who sat too close at a range near me that goes only out to 500 yds. It's better that having to drive hours to the mountains when you get 'the urge'.
I always got there early to pick my spot, or waited till I had safe set up space.

Last time there, some guy parks himself one bench about five feet to my left. Suggested he move over two more benches due to muzzle blast.
Promptly told me, "I'm used to rifle retort, it doesn't bother me".

Figured I'd oblige him.........when I saw he was concentrating on ranging, I popped one off.
Since he was in direct line with the Arrowhead muzzle brake,
(I'm starting to laugh as I remember this!!!!!!!!!!!), the blast blew off his hat, and shooting glasses. They went flying up-over his head landing way behind him,....(really laughing now!!!!), he was so startled that he jumped up, and almost fell off the bench!

I was watching out the corner of my eye, and he got so mad...he started coming towards me....swearing like a drunk sailor.
I reminded him...I suggested he move.
He picked up his gear....and left the range.

Couldn't settle in after that, so I dropped a few more into the target....still laughing, and went home.
I'm still laughing....even now.

I have a thing for military weapons, especially sniper rifles. my only problem is that I'm almost POSITIVE an M82A1 would blow me back about 10-20 feet if I shoot one.

If it were me on the battlefield I'd be eithe dead on the front line, OR shooting from a distance with an M40.(killing a man with a .50cal round just seems overkill to me, a 7.62mm does just fine.)

Saw Man;

You knew that fellow at the range wasn't in a safe place to be, so you took advantage of his ignorance of your firearm when you touched off a round. Quite a sense of humour that!
