The 572 is gone, I am going to get another 60cc range saw. I like both dealers, the cost difference is negligible, the Stihl is slightly lighter, the Husqvarna is familiar. I also have bars and chains for the Husqvarna, I would have to start over with the Stihl.
Any opinions?

Skip both of those and go straight to the MS400. I've heard its the same weight as the 362, despite Stihl's specs, 66 cc and 5.4 hp. The 362 has been made obsolete by the 400. If you decide to stay with Husky since you have bars for Husky, I'd go with a 372. Years ago my 372 with a 20" bar was my go to mid size saw. I'd grab my 372 over my 357xp every time.

Haven't got my hands on a 400 yet but the 500 is a game changer.

I just got rid of a 572xp, I have bigger, that’s not the reason for buying this saw.

562xp over the ms362 all day every day. The ms362 shouldn't even be in production any more. If you didn't mind spending the money, get the ms400. It's about the same weight as the 562xp and has nearly the power of a ms462. Mine has been my go to, since it replaced my old 562xp. The 562xp is still a great saw, and I'd take another if I didn't already have a ms400.

This. The 362 has always been a turd.
I have a 400c is a awesome machine. I have owned a 562xp. It was an awesome machine as well. Can't go wrong with either of those two.

60cc range Don't even mess with MS362, only reason is save $100-150 vs the MS400
562xp vs Ms400
562xp mark ll Have bars and chains. $150-200 cheaper then MS400
MS400 lighter , more "power" ?
I have Ms362 that I use at work. No time on MS400 as of yet. A 562XP is my personal and preferred saw in the 60cc range . I like the ergonomics and power band of Husky saws. If the 562XP mark ll is better then first gen, that I have it will be a great saw.
Down side of the MS400 is more cost and my hate for the Stihl fuel ,oil caps.
I have been using 550XP the most . It just revs and cuts on most of the size wood I have.

If I were you I would get the 562 MII and not look back. You said you already have Husky bars and chain to fit. The ms400 is definitely better than the ms362 but as others have said more money. I dont think there is a bad choice to make here. But the Husky would be the no brainer choice for me.

Go with what works for you. I learned you will get a million opinions. And all of them are not bad. No matter how much anyone kicks around what to buy about everyone gets a dude.

Go run a 400,.you won't be reaching for the 562xp anymore. That being said, I'm a huge 562xp fan. Wouldn't have traded it for another 60sih cc saw till I was forced to buy something else. Not looking back at this point.

I have a very nice OE 262xp.

My OE 362 runs right with it.

The regular carbed ms362 is no turd at all. The early moronics on the other hand are a bit wheezey.

Another arboristsite rumour based on nothing.
