If you buy into some of the online narratives and fashion, if a saw isn't a "pro" saw and modified, it will have a hard time making a chip. SO for the rest of us, here is a snap shot of the task this weekend. Went to visit a friend to help with blocking a tree. Brought the normal load out minus one as I was going to buy a 565 to be that "all around" insurance policy saw. The back up to project saws, and hobby saws.. and a general farm saw. The way this progressed couldn't have been a better demonstration. I didn't video until the last little bit as it was a work day, not a video day...BUT as things transpired, almost got to the end of the day video free....then my 281 fragged. :) The story begins after that. AND once my chain turned into a file on my 565, tuned the video on and caught some 394 vintage power... :)
