So I just called up my dealer, gave them the part numbers for the hd filter and new base, then the kit number Derf posted and got, well have to call you back...... is this stuff available yet?
Makes sense then, they are more worried about kubota parts then saw parts. I'll try the dealer across town this weekend.Yes it’s available, but different dealers may be better at updating their online ordering system and looking up these new parts.
Also it says upgrade and ability to take 28” bar...?Any idea when these started being produced? I just ordered another one... hoping it comes with the upgraded parts.be here end of the month I hope
According to the ipl, "from 20202600073"Any idea when these started being produced? I just ordered another one... hoping it comes with the upgraded parts.be here end of the month I hope
It was somewhat loosely implied there on the websiteEven the old version was rated to a 28" bar.
I'd assume smaller balls, its has to fit the same size hole, so without making the races thinner, the balls would have to be smaller.Do the upgraded bearings mean it has a larger bearings to accommodate the extra ball or are they just smaller balls.
That is what i was going for, yours might have bigger balls, but mine will have more balls than yours!Allow me to be the first to say, "My 562 has bigger balls than yours!"

I knew you guys would understand perfectly.Dang it!
Well I thought I'd update you guys. So I finally got that call back from the dealer about the upgrade kits. They can get the kit for the xpg but not the standard xp model (which is what I have) can anyone tell me why I couldnt run the set up for the xpg on an xp? I'm assuming it has something to do with the carb heater, but I cant really see how they would be that different for the air filter to carb mount.
10-4The carb wall on the XP is black, the carb wall on the XPG is blue. The XPG has a location to mount a carb heater yes, but it also comes with a winter mesh filter. The XP comes with a standard filter.
