The difference is that Stihl makes Stihl products there, whereas Husqvarna makes Zenoah products, or whichever of the dozens of brands they have...

I heard the 36 and 42 cc huskys will be made there and in 5 or so years Husky plans on being OUT of the PRO saw market.........

That is what I was thinking. Redmax has always been made in China/Taiwan right? If so why would they change, especially if they could make a more efficient plant.

Or is Redmax made in Japan?

The pro series redmax engines are made in japan. The Home Series engines are made in china:censored:. I will not buy any of the homeseries units.

Some of the trimmer heads are made in taiwan/china:censored:.
