A friend of mine bought a Husky 346 xpg (anybody knows what the 'g' stands for?), second hand. He received it today, saw looks nice and clean (he will bring it later when he visits, but he sent a picture already).
Cylinder might be a bit too clean, possibly a replacement.
In that case it could be a knockoff; is there a way to identify oem cylinders? Are there specific markings, for example?

Thx in advance for any replies!

EDIT: apparently the 'g' stands for 'generator' (for the heated handles)

There was some further contact with the seller, he said the cylinder as well as the piston are aftermarket; the piston a Meteor (I wonder if it's heavier than an oem one, in this case) and the cylinder a 'nikasil' one... which doesn't say a lot as those €20 Chinese cylinders are advertised as having a nikasil coating too. I guess we'll see...
