Okay can I run 50 to 1 mix in the 185 CD using stihl 2 cycle mix ? Don't want to bugger this saw up ,it cost a bit to get it up and running !
Thanks !

Hey fellas, thought I'd share some pics of my Huskies.
2100CD and a 281XP that was given to me last week. Also some ads in my collection.
The 281 is missing the clutch cover, oil cap, air filter and a coil wire.
Engine was locked up due to very dry bearing from long term storage, all good now.20170523_144701_edit_1495516397062.jpg 20170523_144718.jpg 20150904_1701512.jpg 20180711_152931.jpg

Hi Folks! I had this question posed to me yesterday by a friend - can I put a 51 cc Husky engine in a Husky 55?

I believe the 50,51,55 cranks and crankcases are the same. So i think the cylinder cylinders and pistons are as a pair cross compatible due to the same length stroke and screw hole positions

Hi guys, there'a a 141 for sale locally that I've been looking at. About all I've found out about it is it's a consumer saw, mag case, chrome bore 40cc's. I really want a 2 series but they are few and far between here locally. Is the 141 similar to the 242? I don't need anymore 57cc saws and up so I've been searching for a smaller 2 series. I don't think I could turn down a clean 262/266/268 tho.

They made it home just fine. Kind of forgot to update this... Lol
These saws earned their keep back in the day, the melted hood was a standard feature on all of dad's saws. I knew he had a muffler he swapped between 254's when he traded saws in, I didn't know it was more than just gutted though.
